Aging is Cool is committed to giving back to the communities we serve through our non-profit fund. We provide free programs for older adults with a focus on low income communities, combatting ageism and supporting special projects to improve the aging experience.

your support allows us to:

• Offer free virtual classes weekly for older adults including fitness, brain games, and lifelong learning.

• Offer free classes to community groups and low income housing sites.

• Support special projects that impact the lives of older adults or change the conversation on aging

In 2023,  the Aging is Cool Fund provided: 

• Over 300 free classes

• Two walkability audits in partnership with AARP and Age-Friendly Austin to improve walking access for older adults in high traffic areas near grocery stores

• An Ageism Awareness Day in November that included a mural of older adults

• Support for the Austin Varsity Games (senior games)
